Things to do when you are selling.
- Contract:
Read contract carefully before you sign and make sure you are happy with the conditions of contract, settlement date, price etc. As once you sign the contract is becomes binding according to terms agreed in the written contract.
- Form1:
Provide form1 to the purchaser, as purchaser’s right to cool-off starts from the day you serve the form1 to the purchaser. It is legal requirement to provide form1 to the purchaser/s. Purchaser has two business days to cool-off from the contract after form1 is served to them. Cooling off rights do not apply when purchasing at auction or purchaser agrees to waive their rights in writting using prescribed form using lawyer

You need to inform your lending bank about the sale of the property for them to prepare for settlement. You can speak to bank directly and apply using discharge authority application form or can ask us to assist you with this. - VOI (Verification of Identity)
We need to verify your identity personally at some stage before the settlement of property and finalise the signing of legal documents.
If you are unable to visit at our office, VOI can be executed at post office.
